The Volunteer Support Network is a committee made up of Peace Corps Volunteers that have been trained to assist other volunteers with any issue relating to, or affecting, one’s emotional and physical health while serving as a volunteer in Namibia. It is a completely confidential support system for all volunteers and an additional resource that volunteers can utilize during their training and service. VSN members communicate with volunteers via phone, SMS, the Internet, and in person.
During training, new volunteers are introduced to VSN members, and receive a handbook chock full of useful information about Namibia and being a volunteer here put together by VSN.
VSN can be contacted at VSNnamibia@gmail.com.
